Update (President's Day)

Today was a day off of work, so it was back to the farm. =)

The sheep seem to be not quite so stressed out now that the shed is up and their back in their own field. It was nice to see them just hanging out and being sheep finally; getting back to a regular schedule.

A really nice couple donated a ton of really nice Alfalfa. I'm horrid with names, so i'm not going to risk messing it up, but they know who they are. =) They own a cafe north of George. i'll look up the name. I've been there a few times and it's great home cooking! I just have a cruddy memory!!

The hay shed for above mentioned alfalfa is also v. close to completed. Yeah to the Aussie People!!! They'll be finishing up next weekend and we'd love to have a few skilled laborers come out. And anyone who's willing to share their nail guns, we'll hug you for it!

Diane and I have been talking alot about baby steps. These don't make a new farm, but regrading the old barn, putting up a new lambing shed & hay shelters are just that; baby steps. But they're so important.

The work party from the 18th was cancelled, but we're thinking that we'll have a 10 person group working in the middle of March.
